Every object has its story

Museums inspire and enrich our lives through objects of great cultural and historical significance.

But what gives an object significance? Is it time? Is it dependant on who owned the object?

Many of the world's oldest artefacts started as one person's everyday item.

Museum of Precious Objects celebrates the overlooked objects hiding in the community, precious objects that hold great importance and meaning to the individual. By sharing the personal stories behind these precious objects, we reveal who we are as individuals and what we care most about as a community.
